Why is Paraphrasing Important for EFL learners ?

It is important to use paraphrase to help English language learners because paraphrasing is one of the main methods that EFL learners will be able to use to clarify that they have understood something correctly. For example, if a bank teller explains to an EFL learner the terms of a loan, the student should learn to clarify by saying, “So what I understand from what you’ve said is…” and to paraphrase what was heard. The same applies in many areas of life, including academic work, social settings, and professional situations.

Task 1:

Listen to your own dialouge and evaluate yourself. Use the evaluation chart.
How many point would you give your self ? Explain why ? What do you have to improve ?
Work with your blog. Deadline: 14.02.2013 / This will be graded.

The movie is about two important things, one is that Sean and her bestfriend create a mafia. The mafia is a group of dancers (very good dancers excly) that they like to b¿make the best video in youtube if they are the number 1 in youtube they win $1.000. The other important thing is that in the movie is a family the Anderson family, they are two Emily the daughter of the Sr. Anderson and the Sr. Anderson. The work of the dad is that he makes hotels, but doesnt like that becuase all his live she lives in hotels and she hates this because she doesnt have friends because she study in the hotels. Emily love dance really she love that but it is a problem the father of emily not like dance and they have a lots of fights
